Dr. Budiselic (pronounced Bew-di-selick) graduated from the WCVM in 2005 with Distinction. She subsequently obtained certifications in Equine and Canine Veterinary Physical Rehabilitation, Veterinary Acupuncture, and Veterinary Pain Management. Dr. Budiselic is an avid athlete, and participates in endurance sports (trail running/cycling/long distance hiking), and she is certified as a human personal trainer and corrective exercise specialist. As a veterinary rehabilitation practitioner, Dr. Budiselic has experience with all stages of canine mobility from puppy-hood to geriatrics. She has experience treating cats and rabbits as well and loves seeing them in her treatment room. All aspects of veterinary rehabilitation interest her, but she does have a soft spot for seniors, treating dogs with chronic conditions and palliative (end of life) care. Sporting dogs are a definite interest as well as managing the day to day needs of puppies and adult dogs with an urban and rural lifestyle. Dr. Budiselic has taught equine rehabilitation at the ARI in Florida, and has lectured on canine and equine rehabilitation. She also enjoys mentoring DVM's interested in pursuing or expanding their career in the field of veterinary physical rehabilitation. When not working in the clinic, growing the practice and seeing clients, Dr. Budiselic may be seeming roaming the mountain passes like the elusive Sasquatch, gardening, planning far out trips, kayaking, beading and watercolor painting.

Dr. Veronika Pak, DVM
Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist (CVAT); Canine Rehabilitation Institute (2023)
University of Veterinary Medicine Cum Laude, Budapest, Hungary (2010)
University of Victoria, Bachelor of Science with Distinction (2006)
Dr. Veronika Pak was born and raised in Alberta, and found pleasure in the small things and learned compassion for our four-legged friends. Following graduation from the University of Victoria (Biology), she followed her ancestral connections back to Hungary and completed her veterinary degree there (with distinction) in 2010. Attending an international program gave her the honor of interacting and learning from individuals from diverse cultures who had different approaches to life in veterinary medicine. Dr. Pak has completed multiple externships in various aspects of veterinary medicine, including wildlife, feedlot, and zoo animal medicine. She has also been published, second author, on a zoo medicine research paper. Before moving to Okotoks in 2021, Dr. Pak was practicing in Nelson BC and enjoyed developing close relationships with her patients and clients. After many years in practice, Dr. Pak was looking to reignite her passion for veterinary medicine and decided upon completing her certification in veterinary acupuncture. Veterinary acupuncture has given her another tool to approach more complex cases. Dr. Pak is currently working on her certification in veterinary rehabilitation, completing her first module in 2024. When not in the clinic, attending to her patients whom she loves dearly, Dr. Pak spends time with her boys (Angus and Hugo) and furry family members (Benny and Red; two adorable pups, and Nigel; a large tabby cat!). Dr. Pak also enjoys mountain life and loves to camp and adventure. Dr. Pak is also an emergency DVM and helps save fur-body lives at SAVE in Okotoks.
