Natalie Ion

Veterinary Assistant

She  Born and raised in Scotland, Natalie Ion moved to Canada with her family at the age of nine in 2008.  After high school, she pursued Nutritional Sciences, driven by an interest in professional sports teams and a strong commitment to health and wellness in her daily life.


Natalie's lifelong love for animals led her to a professional career in veterinary medicine.  She earned her Veterinary Assistant diploma from Bow Valley College and spent several years in general practice.  Seeking new challenges and a career in veterinary rehabilitation, she joined Dr. Budiselic, become her dedicated assistant.


At Equilibrium, Natalie is an integral part of the team, managing referrals, interacting with clients and patients and assisting with laser therapy to support treatments under Dr. Budiselic's guidance.   She acts as Dr. Budiselic's "extra hands and eyes", constantly learning and undertaking new projects for the practice.


Outside of work, Natalie enjoys reading, running, golfing, watching shows and being with her girlfriends.  She cherishes time with her Golden Retriever Millie, her cat Miss Kitty, and her loving husband, Decker.
